How to get your Google review link
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your business and search Google for your business name.
- In your Business Profile, choose the option to ask for reviews (Google labels it "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews").
- Copy the short link Google shows you and paste it above.
If you know your Place ID (it starts with ChIJ), you can paste that instead. The tool builds the review link from it. Google's Place ID Finder in the Maps Platform documentation shows the ID for any place.
Where to put the QR code
On the counter where people pay, on the mirror, on receipts and on appointment cards. Ask at the moment the client is happiest, usually right after they see the result. Our guide on getting more Google reviews covers timing, message templates and what Google's rules do not allow, such as offering discounts for reviews.
Common questions
Does the QR code expire?
No. The code only contains your link. It keeps working as long as the link itself works, so test it once with your phone before you print a batch.
PNG or SVG?
PNG is fine for screens and home printers. SVG stays sharp at any size, so send that one to a print shop for stickers or posters.
Is my link stored?
No. The code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to Applio.
