Applio is a small software studio from Bosnia and Herzegovina. We make Applio, a booking platform that gives barbershops, salons, clinics and other appointment-based businesses their own branded app, and we built BarberSamir, the app clients of Barbershop Samir use to book their cuts.
What we write about
The blog covers the things we lean on every day while building software and running a business: keyboard shortcuts for Windows, Mac, Excel and Chrome; iPhone automations; AI prompts that produce usable first drafts; and practical playbooks for businesses that live on appointments, such as cutting no-shows and getting more reviews.
How we keep guides accurate
We write from the official documentation of Microsoft, Apple and Google and from the workflows we use while building our apps. Software changes often, so every article shows the date it was last updated. If a shortcut stopped working or a menu moved, email us and we will fix the post.
Some articles mention our own product, Applio. When they do, we say so. We do not accept paid placements in our guides.
