Terms of Service
Effective date: June 12, 2026 · The English version of these Terms is the binding version.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Applio booking and business-management platform — including our mobile and web applications and this website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
2. The Service
Applio provides software that lets service businesses (“Businesses”) accept and manage bookings, maintain client records, send notifications and view business analytics, and lets their customers (“Clients”) book appointments. Applio is a software provider only: we are not a party to the relationship between a Business and its Clients, and we are not responsible for the services a Business provides, its pricing, availability or conduct.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
- Business owners control which staff members have access to their account and what those staff members can see and do.
4. Subscriptions, billing and refunds
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and handles applicable taxes and invoicing.
- New accounts include a 14-day free trial. No payment details are required to start a trial.
- Plan upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and are prorated automatically.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment — contact us at hello@theapplio.org.
- Prices may change; we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affects an existing subscription.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- upload content that is fraudulent, defamatory, infringing or harmful, or that you do not have the right to use;
- send spam or unsolicited marketing through the Service’s notification features;
- attempt to probe, disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users’ data;
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice where reasonably possible.
6. Your data and content
Businesses own the data they enter into the Service, including their client records, services, prices and branding. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display and back up that data in order to operate the Service. Each Business is the data controller for its Clients’ personal data and is responsible for having a lawful basis to process it — see our Privacy Policy for details on how we process data as a service provider.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by Applio and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service while your subscription is active.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, add or remove features as the product evolves; if we materially reduce core functionality of your paid plan, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund of any prepaid, unused period.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Applio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms or where required by law. After termination, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy (90-day export window, then deletion).
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this address. For material changes we will notify you through the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Questions about these Terms: hello@theapplio.org.
